How team types work

What the research says about Executive Coaching

How the Team Health Assessment works

Your team type comes from a confidential 38-question assessment across eight dimensions, grouped into four clusters: Why, Who, How and What. It describes how your team tends to operate today, including where it quietly gets stuck. It is a starting point for coaching, not a fixed label.

The eight team types are a Sonas framework, built on the dimensions described in the Team Health Assessment.

How the Team Health Assessment works

Teams complete an anonymous 38-question survey across eight dimensions of performance. The leadership team reviews the results in a facilitated workshop and agrees priorities and actions. Each leader then gets 12 weeks of individual coaching, and the team is reassessed at 90 days. The dimensions draw on research including Google’s Project Aristotle and the work of Amy Edmondson and Patrick Lencioni.
